Clarion Hotel Cork

Clarion Hotel Cork

“The Clarion Hotel was the first anchor tenant in the City Quarter development and helped to make the area a vibrant and integral part of Cork City.  The whole City Quarter is a huge addition to the City and to have a hotel, the calibre of the Clarion is great.  The hotel has earned its stripes and credit is due to Charlie Shiel and his staff for their professionalism and for the high level of service they provide”, these are the words of the judging panel for this prestigious award.

Speaking on behalf of the Judging Panel, Ray Doherty thanked the Sponsors and the Judging panel and called on the members of the business community to continue to put forward nominations, he said, “when you recognise a business that you think is deserving of this award, let us know about it.  If you think your business merits the award, let us know that as well”

The Award, sponsored by Heineken Ireland and the Irish Examiner, recognises the value and achievement of Cork Businesses.  It also acknowledges an individual business that has contributed to, or promoted the enhancement of the commercial, cultural or civic life of Cork.

The Award was presented at the CBA Annual Gala Dinner which was held in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Little Island and was attended by 200 CBA Members and guests.
